I have returned to Singapore.
Looking back, God has protected me from my decision not to backpack in Northern Japan (Aomori) to getting me safely back to Tokyo and then back to Singapore. I think many of us come back with a heavy heart feeling we cannot do anything for Japan - which to us has become like a second home. In a way we feel like we are abandoning our friends and the nation that has nurtured us. Still, the life that God has given and protected - that is God's gift. Right here, right now where we are, back in our home countries, we are put in a position where we can do something for Japan. We have lived through the last few days and God has put us in a position to better understand the needs there. We are also in a better position to mobilize resources. More importantly let's continue to pray for the people in Japan.
holding on to you.
